Privacy Policy

A straight description of the records this business keeps, their origin, and their fate. It runs short because the pile itself is small.

What comes from you

Almost all of it arrives during a phone conversation about a door. Nothing on this website submits anywhere — there is no contact form, no quote form, no newsletter sign-up and no chat widget — so unless you have called us, we hold nothing about you at all.

  • Your name, and a line that actually gets answered.
  • The site address where the opening is.
  • A description of the opening: where it sits in the building, what goes through it, and what it has started doing.
  • Anything you volunteer about the building, its tenants or its history that helps work out the door.
  • Where an invoice is raised, whatever billing details that requires.

If you would rather not give a name at the first call, that is workable. We can talk about a door without one.

What the site collects on its own

Standard web server logging: the request, an IP address, a timestamp, a user agent. This is how any web server works and is not specific to us.

If analytics or a call-tracking script is running, it is disclosed in the section below. No advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking are deployed on this site.

Call tracking

The number printed across this site may be a tracked line routing through to the working handset. It exists so we can see which page produced an enquiry, and calls on it are sometimes recorded for the same reason. Any recording is announced before the conversation gets going.

The tracking itself runs through WhatConverts, a third-party call-tracking provider. Their script loads on every page here and records the address of the page you are on, the referrer that sent you, and any search or campaign parameters on the link you followed, so that a call can be matched back to whatever produced it. It may also substitute the number shown on the page for a tracked one. It is not an advertising pixel, it does not follow you around other websites, and this site carries nothing else of the kind.

A tracking number does not change who you reach or what the call costs you.

Those records survive only while they still tell us something about where enquiries originate. After that they are cleared.

What it gets used for and who else sees it

Working out what is wrong with your door, ordering the right part, turning up at the right building, and invoicing for what was done.

  • Suppliers and distributors, where a part has to be ordered against your opening.
  • A specialist trade, where part of a job is not ours — a glazier, an automatic door contractor, a fire alarm contractor for a hold-open interface.
  • An accountant or a payment processor, for the money side.
  • Anyone we are legally obliged to give it to.

Your details are not sold, rented, traded or handed to a marketing list. Nobody buys anything from us in that direction and nobody sells anything to us in it either.

How long it is kept, and what you can ask for

Job records stay on file for a long time, and deliberately so — a written account of what was done to an opening this year is exactly the document somebody goes hunting for five years on when the same door starts playing up. Anything financial is retained for whatever period the law sets.

You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where there is no legal reason to keep it. Call (984) 253-8579 and ask. There is no form for this and there does not need to be.
